If something doesn't work

Install sprig and open a universe

Sprig tries to be gentle and precise.

Common issues:

• If sprig can’t find universe.prose:

  • you’re not inside a universe repository
  • or the repository root is missing universe.prose

• If sprig compiles but reports “unknown blocks”:

  • the universe may be using projections your toolchain doesn’t understand yet
  • sprig will list the blocks it could not interpret

Unknown blocks are not a failure by themselves. They are sprig telling you what it did and did not understand.
